Workout for a novice

Muay Thai is new to me and I’m very much a novice. I am amazed at the pace in which I am learning though. The training is intense and the atmosphere is informal, welcoming and encouraging. I receive great feedback from both the instructors and advanced students. I haven’t been sore like this in over a decade, my cardio is improving, and I’m so appreciative. After being chained to a desk at work all day a good session at the Academy is just what I need!

    As an update to my original post… I’ve now been training at the academy for 9 months. I was a sedentary 187 pounds when I began last February. I’m down to 172 pounds and the progress continues. I have come to look forward to seeing my classmates and leave both exhausted and inspired to do better every time. Great school!
